The Dangerous Days of Daniel X (Daniel X Series #1) Review

(5/5 Stars)

FANBOY POV:
More! More! and More!

CRITIC POV:
If it weren't for the action, this would be a dead novel. The characters don't have much depth except for Daniel.

THE REVIEW:

WRITING STYLE:
I love the style because it is very quick. Sir James Patterson is making each chapter appetizing.

PACE:
Alright! This is the area where sir Patterson excels the most. Each chapter ending is a cliffhanger. Very engaging. I love how from the very start it is already a big explosion.

CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT:
Because of the short chapters, there is no room for character development. Mr. Patterson shoved all the character details from the very start of the novel, and then it stopped. I have read a lot of mr. James Patterson novel and character development just comes in small bits every installment. This is my third time reading this, so I know the characters will become more and more alive as the series goes.

PLOT:
One word: BOMB!
I love this novel, you'll never know what is coming next.

MY VERDICT:
Mr. James Patterson excels in writing YA and JUV novels. They are very engaging. Even the laziest reader will want to finish this treasure in one shot.

RATING BREAKDOWN:

PACE: +1 STAR(S)

MY VERDICT: +2 STAR(S)
